Chocolate sauce over pineapple & cherries!

I whipped this up & it turned out SO GOOD! It's so simple too.

For choc. sauce just mix 2 teaspoons of raw cacoa powder with 2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup (or agave), I added about a teaspoon of water to thin it out more. Pour over chunks of fresh pineaple and fresh cherries. YUM!!:D

I just bought some cherries today and they are GIGANTIC. I bet this dish would be good with fresh grated mature coconut on top...My mouth is watering already...

Interesting combo: pineapple & chocolate. There is a recipe with pineapple & chocolate in the Naked Chocolate book, but I have yet to try it. I am apparently missing out so I'll have to try it!:p

I made some sauce like this (before I read your thread) and dipped my strawberries in it. You're right...so yummy. I think I'm going to put some on banana ice cream tonight. :)

It is surprising, but chocolate is great with pineapple, and with the cherries too, it's like a banana split without the bananas, but you can add those too.:) Oh, you could add some raw ice cream.
