Anyone know much about sprouting pumpkin seeds--how long to soak, how long to sprout, how long they keep?
I have sprouting charts from about 5 different books, and they all say different things. One says to soak for 1 hour and you're done; another says to soak for 2-4 hours and sprout for 1 day; another says to soak for 2-6 hours and sprout for 1-2 days; another says soak 4-8 hours and don't sprout; another says you have to use them right away and not refrigerate or they'll go bad. I'm confused! Has anyone had success with a particular method?
Oh also, do they actually produce sprouts? Like can you tell the difference between sprouted ones and just soaked ones?
Thanks y'all!
