I am usually an all or nothing person. If I don't go completely 100%, then things never get done.
However, with raw, I am finding that transitioning back to that 100% is easier than going cold turkey. I try to go cold turkey and I just keep failing.
However, for some reason, if I transition - like I am doing now - then the cooked food I know I could have no longer appeals to me. It doesn't even sound good to me. And I think that's 'cuz I know I can have it but then lose the desire for it 'cuz I know I can have it.
This must sound really weird.
I stopped chewing gum almost a month ago and haven't missed it. I stopped eating meat around the same time & haven't missed it. I gave up artificial sweeteners up around 3 months ago & totally lost my cravings for sugar & haven't msised the artificial sweeteners. Then I stopped drinking the coffee 3 days ago & haven't missed it. Now I've been two days without the gardenburgers & haven't missed them.
For some reason, transitioning is making it easier & easier for me to give up cooked food.
