Had anyone had the same problem and if so what did you do about it.
Sometimes i make it through but there are times that i feel so weak and give in but don't really enjoy myself when i do.
I try not to beat myself up but i feel so all alone:(

I bring snacks with me: Kale or chard chips, eggplant bacon, flax crackers. Sometimes I want something salty, crunchy and dried (so celery would be no dice). :)

Eat before you leave home or at least bring something with you. I am always able to find things I can snack on purchased right from the store (fruit, etc).

I always try to eat before heading out if I can and bring treats with me such as raw fudge balls or crackers so if I get tempted I can pop those in...

Went grocery shopping today, knew it would take forever with all of the traffic, whipped up a tasty smoothie and drank it in the car! :D

LOL, I wish I could drink and drive! But between a 20 year old car with original clutch, steep hills and curves, no cup holders- I have to wait until I'm at my destination.

Aw man, brings me back to the days when I had a 20-year-old car with a stick shift and was in college. I would (seriously) drink coffee, smoke a cigarette, talk on my cell phone and drive quickly sometimes, or even eat a whole meal.

Drinking a smoothie is nothing; I've begun to calm down in my old (ahem 25 years haha) age! :D :D

I buy organic raw bars, and they are so good. I have to drive a ways to buy them, but they are so worth it. Also they cost a bit like 2.00 + per bar so I don't over eat them. They are a luxury item so I savor them. :p

My mom used to always say "never go to the grocery store hungry!" you'll buy everything in sight!

.A couple of days ago i brought some lara bars and that's what i will do, i will keep them on hand as much as possible to take with me when i go shopping:)
Also i'm going to make some bars here at home to keep with me also.
You all have been very helpful, thanks so much.
It is easier to eat raw at home than when out if you don't plan ahead and that's what i'm going to have to do from now on.

Well, I've been pulled over for eating and driving so I've stopped that. I think my color has more to do with it so I tend to stay on the straight and narrow - even so, I still have cops shining a light on me at night sometimes for no reason. *sigh*

Back to the topic, I need one of those soft coolers to keep smoothies COLD. There is nothing worse than a lukewarm smoothie - at least for me!

I keep trailmix in my purse. I also work for a company that makes a raw fiber bar, which I keep in my purse too.

As times goes by I have had less cravings for things like baked goods, but I know what you mean...I do at times make an exception for some good chocolate, of the non raw variety. Dark chocolate has been a favorite for years, so I love experiementing with chocolate nibs and the like...knowing that I have healthy snacks with me helps.

Dried fruit, particularly dried apricots usually hit the spot. Sweet & tart and yummy!
