Well another possibly silly question. I am wanting to start a long fast on friday for some health reasons and also to drop some weight so when I need to start working at the end of the summer I can. I am currious though if I fast and end up losing 30-40 pounds will I have to worry about saggy skin? I am 21 if that makes a difference. I hope I don't come off as silly here:o
Right now I am 5"5 and 170, and I want to at least be under 150 when I try to start working so the pain in my feet and knees isn't so bad. Thanks

:) I agree with eatyourbroccoli, you are young and so you body still has the ability to bounce back a lot faster....I think you should do simple light exercises since you'll be fasting (stretching, pilates or other type of toning exercise, or dry skin brushing for circulation) and stay hydrated ...so don't worry:) ...sometimes (not so for everyone) fasting will cause you to drop weight a lot faster than you normally would otherwise and you may initially have a little pooch or something but your so young that your body will go with the flow and snap back where it needs to be.

Any exercise that causes you to reverse your direction suddenly is good for tightening loose skin. Rebounding is best but tennis is also good.

It depends. I lost 78 lbs when I was 16-18 and just went in for a mini tummy tuck 4 months ago to get rid of saggy skin on my stomach that would not go away no matter how much working out I did. Everyone is different, it has alot to do with genetics.

Dry skin brushing also helps amazingly with skin. You figure - our skin is our biggest organ, so...we need to take care of it!
