I've just read about this and how it is estimated to have at least 10 times the nutrients of regular green tea and to contain up to 137 times more antioxidants.
Matcha tea is apparently a ground powder that dissolves in water so the body absorbs more of the nutrients. Many of the nutrients naturally found in tea are lost after infusing then removing a tea bag as they are not water soluble.
OK - so the science sounds good but has anybody actually tried this tea? As it's a powder you could probably just use warm water to mix it rather than boiled.
BUT ..... is it raw?
