Okay so I just tried to make this "energy soup" recipe I found online and for it I used:

1 avocado
1/2 cucumber
4 celery ribs
handful dulse
1/2 bell peper
2 small tomatoes
2 cups greens (bok choy & swisschard)
handful cabbage
1 tablespoon green powder

and it has got to be one of the most disgusting things I've EVER tasted... but I seriously dont want to waste all of my veggies and greens! Anyone have any idea what I can do with this mix to make it taste okay? I dont know if adding fruit at this point would just make it worse... I seriously dont know how anyone could eat this though.. its really bad.. :(

If it tastes yucky.. just make note to not make it again. It could just be that you don't like it.... doesn't mean the recipe is gross. Everyone has different likes. There have been many raw food recipes I had to toss out because I could not eat it and many people on here said it was good. ;)

ive never tried the energy soup but ive heard that although its supposed to make you feel awesome it tastes horrrrible. :D lol

you could always try just adding 1-2 spoonfuls of it to each green smoothie you make until its gone. i did that with a disgusting green smoothie and one it was in the new smoothie you couldnt taste it.

Garlic, more avocado, citrus juice, water. I've had the same thing happen when experimenting & just kept playing around until it tasted good enough to eat.

garlic and onion may be the thing, and yes, avocado, too.

Spices? Otherwise I vote garlic!
