I had the same problem. Isn't it great?:D I had to make some tortillas for wraps and some corn chips since I miss that stuff the most. I took one tray of the corn chips to do the Rawritos posted here by ertarox (SchoolOfRAWk). I'm coming off of a juice fast today so I can't eat them yet. The house smelled so good when making them last night though. I'm back wondering what to make again today but figure I'll wait. I made enough to last a week or two I think! I don't plan on eating dehydrated stuff at every meal!:D

That is so cool. I have to wait until my birthday in August before I can get a dehydrator. What size did you get? I am thinking of the 5 tray. I heard they are pretty loud is this true?

They are not quiet at all, but I'm not sure if loud is quite the right word. It didn't bother me, but bothered the dogs. They didn't know what to think anymore, they figured we were under attack or something. Imagine putting an eight inch fan in the oven with the door cracked and that is pretty much the sound.

Maraw's pancakes - they are good for breakfast, on the go, or any time!

Alissa's calzone - to LIVE for!
Alissa's pizza's - YUM-OH!

Oh I can't wait to make all of this and more.

I got the 5 tray off ebay. Actually seems quieter than my American Harvest one. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. And after 6 months with the round/non-temp controlled one, it's like a dream.

Seasoned nuts are one of my favorites to have on hand, the problem is they don't last long.

Bunny - any favorite recipes you can share?

As far as the nuts I make it up as I go along. I start by soaking and dehydrating the nuts. Almonds are my favorite, but usually at the least I mix in some sunflower seeds to save $.

Then I add whatever I feel like. Typically add a little olive oil, cumin, Nama Shoyu, garlic and whatever else I feel like throwing in. Then I put them back in the dehydrator.

Everyone loves them. I found I have to stop sharing them otherwise they are gone before I get a chance to eat any.
