I am thinking about buying one of these from The Fresh Network in the UK but have reservations if all it does is 'spaghetti' shapes.

Can it also slice vegetables such as turnips or sweet potatoes to make Alissa's rawvioli? That's the area I have problems with as I can't get the vegetables thin enough with a knife.

If the Saladacco is 'multi-functional', I will buy it.

Can anyone who has one please give me some feedback? (I will also do a 'banana search' in the meantime.

Thanks.

Tracy

I have answered my own question!!

I looked on Shazzie's site and she sells the spiral slicer and when you click on it, it has diagrams about what can be sliced and diced etc. You can have slices which is great.

I still would like to hear about what culinary creations people have made using this equipment.
