New here and with raw foods so forgive me for the ignorace! Well, before I realized it, I had cut my whole lot of wheat grass that I recently have grown. I do not have a juicer. I do have a vitamix though. What should I do with this? I stuck it in a baggie and put it in the frig for now. I didn't rinse it out either for fear of making things worse. Got any suggestions? Thanks!

blend in your vitamix with a little bit of water. and strain through a nut milk bag. if you cut alot..it will keep in the fridge for a few days. if you don't have a nut milk bag...you can see if the hardware store has canning supplies...there is a bag for straining seeds for jelly you could use. And also..you can just chew the grass and spit it out. You have a wheatgrass juicer in your mouth. :D

How long will JUST the grass stay good in the frig(If I don't juice it but just chew it)? Thanks for the reply by the way!

sorry I missed this question...
You know it's bad when it turns yellow. A little bit yellow is ok. My wheatgrass guy says it has more lecithin in it when it gets a bit yellow.

Cut wheatgrass will stay in the fridge up to a week. If put in an Evert Fresh bag, two weeks. Try freezing some if you have to juice it...or use the pulp for things. Or do a wheatgrass implant. Or give it to your animal. If it was ready to cut, it's better cut than still growing.....
