Houston, TX get together?!!?

I've noticed there are many members that are in or around the Houston area. Now that summer's here and we're getting the nice, balmy weather (it's not so much the heat, it's the humidity...) are there any people that would like to get together for outings at Memorial Park or even broaden our horizons with trips to one of Houston's finest Museums??

Note: I also have two dogs and would love to meet some of ya'll at one of the dog parks...preferably Millie Bush off westhiemer parkway near the national guard armory (across from the shooting gun range), or the other one near memorial park or allen parkway. www.houstondogpark.org

Anyway, just a thought to get our exersice juices going!!!

i was kinda thinking something once a month...you know, for exercise.
yeah, cathy, i wish you were closer as well. when i first started taking zeus to the dog park (millie bush), there used to be around a dozen boxers running around sunday mornings that met through www.boxerworld.com

I am dying to meet other rawbies from Houston. I would love to meet at the dog park. I enjoy taking my dog to Millie Bush park. I don't live far from there.
It would be cool if we could email and coordinate date/times we can get together.

Well, I could be there but it is about 12 hours drive for me and I used up my vacation time.

Saturday morning if it isn't raining at one of the dog parks
A museum trip if it is
I also have a free day pass for one to 24 hour fitness


Just something so we can get those exercise juices flowing, you know?
