Hello all!
I'm going to Paris in a few weeks...just wondering if there are any raw restaurants there. Also, I hear there are many open air markets to buy fruits and veggies...do any of them carry organic produce? Thanks for the help!

Ask Elisabeth...her blog is great and she would know...have a great time. Paris is my favourite city on earth. There are shops everywhere with fresh organic produce and the open markets are wonderful. Ful lof colour, scent and smiles. I ate better there than anywhere! You can get truly raw olives! YUM!

Have you been to Paris before? If not...go to the catacombs. Not to be missed! (unless you are squeamish)

I would recommend "Le Potager du Marais" which though not raw vegan has plenty of choices for the food foodist. The food is absolutely delicious, all organic and it has a delightful atmosphere...they made a wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable juice for me followed by an incredible raw avocado salad. They will pretty much make anything up for you...check this link out http://blog.vegkitchen.com/2006/03/our-favorite-paris-restaurant.

All the best

Yeah, the olive department at the Monoprix or any large grocery store. Yum, bring me back some Olives de Nice. A good French grocery store that has a deli, bakery, etc., will have a large counter with several different types of olives from various localities.
