Today i was so hungry but i didn't eat any processed food while out:) but i was very tired and hungry when i got in the house.
I had some blended tomatoes (very ripe) with avocadoes, it made a great soup and really hit the spot.
What do you all fix for those times?

A slightly thin green smoothie (extra water/ice) hits the spot the best I have found, but is not always my first choice. I have started learning to just make it in spite of what I may be thinking, then finding myself chugging it down and being well satisfied. Watermelon juice (in blender not juicer) is a godsend but I blend it with the seeds so it is not all sugar but also has fiber (since I'm blending not juicing), protein and fat. If I have a prepared spread in the fridge, I will eat it on some flax seed crackers if I have those handy along with a big glass of water.

this was the case for me...over the weekend... i ended up eating raisins i think about 4 different times throughout the day just because of being out all day on Saturday ...

i tend to go for fruit or something like that...sometimes a nice ripe banana will do wonders for me when my stomach is growling with hunger until I have time to actually prep something

i also like eating the avocados because they are filling and good...i can easily smash one up and add a little cayenne pepper and h. sea salt and put it in a romaine lettuce leaf and be satisfied instantly

I grab a banana or an apple, and eat it WHILE I make a big green salad.
I'm LOVING my salads lately. I could eat them for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
Maybe I will! Haha

If I come home and I am hungry I find that chocolate icecream (with added nuts) hits the spot

Oh please give me your recipe for chocolate ice cream.
I'm trying to stop buying it at my health food store, rice dream.
Thank you.

How funny CCPudding...I do the exact same thing. Dates while the smoothie gets blitzed. Also fruit pops from the freezer are instant food..I eat them for breakfast too.

You blend watermelon with the seeds? That's a great idea, didn't know you could do that, sure saves picking out all those seeds. How does it taste?

It tastes just like Watermelon!:p I run it in my BlendTec on the Whole Juice setting twice. I either add ice to keep it cold or use frozen watermelon (that's right FROZEN:eek:). When frozen I have to add some water to give the blades something to grab on to. After those two cycles the seeds have been turned to a very fine powder most of which is incorporated with the fluid. Some will settle to the bottom and you can either drink it with the last drink or not. Sometimes I drink it, sometimes I don't. There some good stuff in those seeds, so don't waste them.
