View Full Version : I've been shopping most all day and when i got home i was really tired...

Not wanting to quick buy on the run and eat processed snacks.
I waited and when i got home i had purchased some really red ripe tomatoes,
I put three of them sliced in half in my blender with a little water and a half an avocado and some hot spices and blended away.
It came out so creamy and good, i heated it until it was warm to the touch or i could have eaten it cold.
It was so tasty and easy to do.
I sliced up the rest of the avocado and thinly sliced so bok choy and put on to
Believe me it satified my hunger:) tonight i'm going to do the same but this time blend u[ some corn with it and leave it a little chunky for the chowder texture.

Don't you just love those quick fix meals?!! That is generally what I live on, and I am not even tired ~ Cathy

Bethanie, we had the same day yesterday. Should've shopped together. ;) Did you go to Whole Foods too? I first made my Spicy Spinach Soup, but I had a hard time getting full even though it's a filling soup. When I don't eat enough throughot the day, I'm so overly hungry that I need huge quantities of food. Then I had BananaAvo Pudding. And a few more things. :o Thing is I ate before I left (a smoothie) & had an apple while out. Still wasn't enough though. I find I need to eat every 2-3 hr or I don't feel well. Men don't realize that shopping is such hard work. :p

Our nearest one is in Chicago so we don't get to go too often.
I shopped in the area but i went to quite a few stores and i have to look at everything compare prices and all and it takes lot of time:)
