I want to make my first green smoothie a good one so I can get hooked on them right away and not turned off by something gross lol ... I have searched the threads for green smoothies and have noticed that not many of them use peaches, but I want to use peaches to replace the bananas a lot of people here add to their smoothies (I hate bananas :-X) ...
Anyway I was thinking ...
A couple big, ripe peaches
Spinach
Strawberries
Do you think this would be good? I love strawberry fruit smoothies and hope this on is tasty ... If not, what other smoothie ideas are good with peaches/no bananas and preferably no nuts/nut butter  (I know I'm picky)

Peaches and Spinach is my most 'favorite' but one important thing to know/remember is we must change/rotate the greens. Don't consume too much spinach. Try other greens.
The other thing: I used to hate really hate ripe banannas ! they had to be pale yellow with a little touch of green !! Now, I enjoy them. The Green Smoothie is supposed to help you/us recreate Hydrochloric acid in our stomachs and then we will enjoy all the foods. The bananna will taste so good !!!!!!!! Yum !!!!!!!

Mmmm ... I can't wait lol ... Maybe i wont add strawberries at first and see how just peaches and spinach tastes ... I don't really eat too may greens but when I do it is mostly spinach but I will rotate when I start experimenting with smoothies ... Also, can I buy dandelion in a store?

Not likely in a store. More likely growing wild. Seriously. It's great stuff. (roots & leaves). And don't forget the oranges - yum!!

Wow! Sorry to be a pest :p but you just pick them and like wash/soak them? I have grown up around tons of dandelions that I never did anything with!

The younger the dandelion plant, the better. The older it gets the more bitter it becomes.
GS's are so versatile! You can change them up all the time.

I was wondering that too. I probably consume a great deal of spinach and have not had any ill effects...so, I dunno...?

I would say to be careful where you pick dandelion...it is constantly sprayed in my area with pesticides...people seem to hate the poor dandelion and see it as a burden...for that reason, i don't pick them anywhere because
I think one would have to eat a ton of spinach to have any effect....I have a friend who eats a large bunch of it daily (has done so for years) and glows

Get dandelions in the wild; not close to where they might be sprayed, or people walking their dogs::::
I have purchased dandelion seeds, also miners lettuce and pursalene etc from www.territorialseeds.com and www.seedsofchange.com. They are
'beautiful' never imagined being this excited about 'weeds'

We have two stores in our area that sell bunches of dandelions; If there's on organic section, you might ask the produce person is they would get some.

Don't forget carrot tops, beet tops. Boc Choy.
The formula (not set in concrete though) is 60% fruit and 40% greens. But let your taste guide you.
***when you'r body has enough spinach it will tell you by not wanting it. The smell will kind of repell you from wanting to drink it. But ROTATE your greens.
