Hi all,
I'm trying to come up with some ideas for quick evening snacks, something to finish off the day that isn't too heavy but is sweet. I'm trying to stay away from nuts and avocado-based deserts, since I eat enough of those during the day. Here are some ideas I had so far but I'm looking for more:
Tropical fruit (like mango or pineapple), chopped and cold from the fridge
homemade apple sauce (apples and dates in a blender)
Fruit smoothie
Any other ideas?

Fruit leather
Dried fruit that you make (apples, pears, mango, bananas, etc.)
Dates, raisins, goji berries, dried apricots, figs, etc.
Crust-less fruit pies/puddings (example: Alissa's Blueberry pie without the crust)
Frozen-banana ice cream (make it vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc. or you can make a topping for it such as chocolate sauce, pineapple sauce or strawberry sauce which is just each item blended with a sweetener of choice)
Fruit sorbet

I agree with Rawkinlocs' suggestions. Just be sure to drink enough when eating dehydrated fruits...
How about taking a date and wrap it around a nut?
Grapefruits (ruby reds are yummy)?
Mawraw's pancakes (not really fruit per se, but still a nice "light" treat)?

tomatoe and mango blended together..
ripe bananas and celery
when i want to power out a massive day, for dinner i guzzle blenders of bananas and soaked dates till it pours out of my mouth..
then i wake up next day carbed up and ready to carve it up!
as what we eat today, powers us tommorrow!

Thanks for the suggestions. I can't afford a dehydrator right now, so I can't make my own dried fruit but I've just moved to a decent sized town where I've found stuff in a whole foods store that is sun-dried, so I'm good to go with that.
Durianrider, I never thought about pairing mango and tomato or banana and celery in a smoothie but I'll have to try that :D.

I don't know if you can get persimmons at your local store, but the fat free vegan blog has a suggestion for persimmon sorbet. If I remember correctly, place persimmon in the freezer until it starts to freeze. Cut top off persimmon (sp?) and eat with spoon. Don't eat the skin though.

Not an overnight freeze but long enough to chill, yet still pliable so you don't break you teeth.;) :D

Great suggestions everyone!!
My favorite right now is sliced bananas with cinnamon sprinkled over the top. My son likes to have cinnamon, coconut and agave on top. Yum!!
We also like to take sliced peaches or nectarines and blend up some raspberries to pour over the top.
