I have never made Rice Milk. I guess you would Wash it..., put it into the Vita-Mix,add water, then strain it....
Have you ever made Almond Milk? Now that's to LIVE For...so you can drink it again. You make it the same way, only use Almonds.

I haven't read anywere about rice milk. But I haven't purposely looked for it either.
I agree about the nut mylks. They are very good and you can change 'em up. Mix nuts and all.

You couldn't make raw rice milk. As the previous poster said, raw nut and seed milks are easy to make and very delicious.

i've never made rice milk, but I have made almond milk and I HATE it!! how do you guys make almond milk taste good? it just tastes so watery to me! I follow alissa's directions and have tried different amounts of honey, but it's sick. any suggestions? all i do now is grind soaked almonds in a blender with water, add honey, blend some more, and then strain it. HELP!

I've had rice milk, it taste okay, but I had to put some sweetner in it. I'll look for the recipe.
I just made raw peanut milk. about 2 days ago. For that one:
Soak the nuts over night.
After soaked if you have the patience for it you can peel off all the brown skin:eek: I just do it with it on them.
Get your blender and some more water.
I usually pour about a cup or so of water into the blender.
next add about 2 cups of soaked peanuts - put on the ice drink selection on the blender,(or whatever your's says), then I put it on smoothie = this is all on the "high" level.
Once it's good and watery and all the nuts are dissolved. I pour it through a strainner. I'll do this process a couple of times until my pitcher is full of the white milk.
I'm currently on a juice fast so I didn't add any sweetner. Usually I'll add some raw honey or organic cane sugar - it all depends on how you like it.
have fun:D

runninraw,
I'm so glad you asked this question because I'm using up soy milk I've bought and then plan to make my own and I've heard it isn't as good. Thanks to Path301 for your tips.
