I am new at sprouting, and although I had a few sprouts, some of the grain was turning red. Does this mean it's bad and I did not let try enough before rinsing? I was so excited to see the tiny sprouts, then the red :( .
Thanks

Hi,
I'm new to all this too but just yesterday I sprouted Quinoa and I started out with white grain. I don't think the grain should be red in color. You may want to scrap it and purchase fresh grain.
good luck

When I sprouted amaranth that went pink. I wasn't sure about it but ate it and it was fine, just a suprising colour

hmmmmm...
Is amaranth tasty? I've never tried it but see it all the time in my Seeds of Change catalog.
