Washing Fruit

I was wondering when and how some of you wash your fruit and veggies?
Before you store them in the fridge? Ex.

It's strange, but, I store my fruit in the frig, and then wash it when I want to eat it. However, with greens, I wash them first, and then wrap them in towels, and store them in the refrigerator. I guess, I do this, because it is easy to wash fruit, and more time consuming to wash greens.
