Butter finger bites.
these were good, but i goofed the recipe pretty bad using fresh apples whizzed in the ktec... flavor was great, texture all wrong.
so to save them i froze them & then i painted them with a mix of equal parts of cocoa, coconut oil, agave...
it hardened instantly to a chocolate coating... and face it, it could be moistened sawdust inside and it would still taste good w/ a chocolate coating :)

2 cups coconut
2 cups dried apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2/3 cup peanut butter
1-1/2 tablespoons vanilla
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Shape into 1/2" balls. Place on dehydrator trays and dry at 115º F. for 4 to 5 hours, or until firm and crisp on the outside.
Makes 3 dozen.
Cosmic Bliss Balls

Serves 1-3 people
1 cup sunflower seeds or any nut/seed
1 cup raisins or 1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1 tbs. carob
1 tbs. coconut oil
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Process everything till smooth (except coconut flakes) Roll into balls, then coat the balls into the coconut flakes. Chill in the freezer until ready to serve.
i used raisins, and real cocoa powder. people really liked them! sad ones!
