ok all. I am slowly starting out this way until I get my book and juicer. I make a sald for lunch with romaine, brocolli, carrots, garlic, raw olive oil, balsalmic vinegar and CHICKEN ( I know not good) but my problem is I don't know what else to put in it. As of yet I am not a great fan of many other veggies but feel like I need something else in it besides chicken or fish. I have to pack lunch for work so I could do an all fruit salad but can do a shake. Any ideas for lunches. Thanks Susan

Toss the chicken and add avocado.;)

you might find mushrooms a good substitute for meat... they are more 'meaty', especially portobella... if youre not a fan of raw mushrooms you could try marinating them in oil &balsamic

What scares you about eating avocado instead of chicken?
You know hun, there's no problem asking questions it's just that there are soooo many recipes on this board and if you google "raw food recipes" you'll find a whole bunch more.
Choose about 3 that sound good; have ingredients you like and start there. Make those; if you like them, make them again, if not, choose 3 more that sound interesting. If you don't like or have access to an ingredient, then substitute another. Just keep it simple. It really is!
