Hi Guys,

I have the opposite problem of most people. I am afraid to lose too much weight. Ever since I have started this life style I have gone from 118 to 110. People have noticed and one of the doctors I work with even told me I look too skinney and to have my bloodwork done. I did and happy to say it all turned out perfect.

Well, I am not all raw. My diet is fruits, vegtables, avacados, nuts, seeds, salads, vegtable sandwiches, flax seed crackers and also some cooked food and still eating whole grain breads. I started also doing green smoothies. That is mainly it, I am sure I forgot some things and I do slip once in awhile and cheat, which I am working on.

So, in closing any suggestions to help maintain and not to lose any more weight. Does anyone else have this problem??

I don't, however, maybe add more fats? Avocado, nuts, seeds, etc.

My suggestion would be to try adding more fats like dreamrawalwz said.

Just eat more in general. Maybe add an extra meal to your day, or like 3 extra snacks throughout the day.

I had the very same problem. I started out thin and have gotten thinner. I look a little skeletal right now (I'm 4 weeks 100%). For the first 3 weeks I lost about 10 LBs and this last week I gained back 3Lbs. But, after asking people here and reading Alissa's section on it, I beilieve that you go through a period of "loosing your false body", something I see I really have done! Now, after kinda "cleaning house" I feel like I'm rebuilding a healthy me. With just these 3lbs I can see my arms looking different, not so scrawny! :)
I did add these things to my daily meals and it has helped:

2 bananas, 1 T ground flax seeds to my green smoothie in the a.m.
1 avo, small handful of pine nuts for a.m. snack
1 avo, 2 T olive oil, small handful sunflower seeds to my lunch salad
1 banana for an afternoon snack
2T olive oil, 1 avo to my citrus salad for
dinner
1 pear or some raisins before bed

I feel great with the additions and It's nice to see the healthy weight come back!
Hope that helps!

That's absolutely right Liserpiece! OUr false body sheds and sometimes for those that are not use to it, can be a little frightening. I had aread about one gentlemen who was down to 113 lbs as a MAN and steadly gained it back. The body will rebuild. Granted, if it is supplied with a spectrum of foods.

Worrying makes the body deplete. Enjoy your journey.

YEP! It happens...happened to me. I dropped from 145 to around 120 and I couldn't even remember when I was last 120 - when I was 18 I weighed 128.

I have a few pictures of me when I was going through my "shedding of the false body/detox period" and I think, "UGH...I looked AW-ful!" But eventually, my body did end up rebuilding and then balancing out/stabilizing at "IT'S" ideal weight RANGE - I always tell people that your body has an ideal weight range, not just one certain number, and depending on what you're eating, exercise (or lack of), "that time of month" (for women), water retention, stress, etc. - your weight may fluctuate within that range.

Mine is 124-128. I would have thought my ideal weight was around 130 but it was not. I've grown comfortable with the current weight range that my body set for me when I began eating raw foods...took a while to get used to being smaller than I was ever used to being (as an adult), but it has it's advantages! :)

Hey everyone,
Thanks for the responses and advise, which I will take. For all of us I am sure changing our lifestyle with food is a journey that we will always be on. I have a ways to go, but I keep eating healthier and healthier and it makes sense what you all said about your shedding your false bodies. Again thanks!
