Hello,

I was just wondering where i can find an affordable Vita-Mix with the wet and dry pieces, etc. Does anyone know of a site that does financing for these very expensive blenders?

Thank you,

Pan.Droid

One of our members, RowanC, found a lot of great deals on Craigslist.org for dehydrators yesterday, so you may also find Vita-mix blenders on there too that people may be getting rid of if you check in your area.

I'm almost positive that you can buy a Vitamix and pay in four installments. If you call them they can let you know for sure. Also, Freecycle and eBay are great places to look. I bought a "vintage" Vitamix 3600 for $130 and it works perfectly.

Also has anyone used a Vita-mix that is older than the 3600. There is a Mark 20 and a sidewinder and a 550. I'm wondering if these have the same power as the 3600. Anyone??? These older models are Very affordable I'm just not sure how well they work.

That's the one I have, and I LOVE it!!! The metal container also makes it great when you do cold/frozen drinks, 'cause they tend to stay extra cold. :)

I just checked Consumer Reports and they have a Best Buy listed that did almost as well as the Vita-Mix and at really cheap price. Braun PowerMax MX2050 CR Best Buy- I saw one on Amazon for $40 with free shipping.
