He owns a construction company and loves raw. He keeps losing weight! He eats like a stinkin bird is part of the problem, but is there ANY certain food or food combo anybody knows about? We ordered The Thrive Diet, and that should help (for major raw vegan athletes), but any ideas are welcome. Doesn't hurt to ask my extremely smart and experienced diverse group of peers, you know?

Well it's easy to gain weight, at least for me it is.
Start incorperating more nuts and avacados and extra virgin olive oils
Bananas and just eat later at night to before you goto bed that's a super quick way to do it.
Also make a lot dessert foods - it'll work.

I have seen pictures of your food, and I don't know how he can still eat like a bird! I wanted one of your pizzas really bad. :D How long has he been eating raw foods maybe he just needs time to adjust.

I've been trting to put on weight, the 10Lbs I lost when I started made me look skeletal. With sugestions from people here I added the following every day and have gained 2Lbs back in the last couple of days. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I'm happy the losing has stopped and I'm putting healthy weight back on!
Maybe this will help:
I added 2 bananas and ground flax seed to my green smoothie (Spinach, banana, apple, orange) in the a.m.
I added a whole avo with a handful of pine nuts for a a.m. snack
I added 3T (aprox) of oilve oil, another whole avo and a handful of seeds to my salad (Romain, cabbage, red bell pepper, scallions, purple onion, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar) at lunch. I actually have to put this salad in a mixing bowl!!
I added another banana with a T of almond butter (MAJOR YUM!) for a p.m. snack
I usually have a large salad romain/spinach/lemon juice/grapefruit salad for dinner with a handful of sunflowerseeds with 2T olive oil.
I added a pear before going to bed.
The things I added were easy to throw in to what I was already eating.
Good luck!

The part in bold is exactly what I was thinking...people forget about the fact that we still have to shed that old stuff off and unless a person is already overweight, they're gonna get smaller but if you persevere, things will balance out to the BODY'S ideal weight range!

He has been raw for a few years. And he does do seed milks and oils. We'll see. Great feedback guys. I probably will be off the boards for awhile, but I'll pass this info on to her. And thanks for the compliments - I live 2 hours and 30 minutes away, but he does pig out when I come and prepare feasts. His wife has a 2000 square foot kitchen though and is a good little chef herself. Peace! :-)

Oh, your friends hubby! I thought he was yours. Ha Ha. Okay so he is not eating your beautiful food everyday. Well two years raw, you think he would have it all down to a Science by now. I hope I will have adjusted in two years time. My goal is to weigh in around 117 lbs - 120lbs. and look totally awesome, rawsome! But now I weigh in at 111 lbs and wonder if I can go any lower without my friends and family doing an intervention.
