View Full Version : Is cracked wheat considered raw?

I usually soak it to soften it. Also, are powered spices considered raw?

I'm pretty sure that it is not technically considered raw...I think this may have to do with the processing of it; as far as the spices go; again I think it many would say no... I know that many are dried with heat and such;

Like I said; I'm pretty sure that the wheat is not raw and know that most spices are not but I think that it going to come to a matter of personal preference during your raw journey... I enjoy many spices...... I also love tea... it was hard for me to give up my herbal tea; I have come to a place now that I can just steep my teas in warm water for a while and sip away like that....

I hope this helps; I'm sure someone will post a definite answer for the wheat thing;
