Had one about an hour ago. I made it up myself as my fridge and such looks like Mother Hubbard. It consisted of spinach, pineapple, flax oil, flax seed, almond mile, ice cube and stevia. I was a chartrures color.
IT WAS AWESOME!!:D

May I suggest checking out (of the library, or buying) Victoria Boutenko's "Green for Life" book? It thoroughly explains the benefits of GS's and how healing they are. They are miracle drinks. I love them. It's a very quick read. And the possibilities of what you can put in them are endless. They are broken down so your body assimilates them quicker. Good, good stuff!!!
I call 'em my Shrek Shakes!

I am not entirely sure I have ever had a green smoothie. I make my regular fruit smoothie (fresh OJ/citrus, flax seed--ground, frozen berry assortment, and several leaves of Collard Greens. I don't know if it is green, certainly not in color (black berries . . . .) but it tastes greenish!

That definitely counts as a green smoothie. When you add dark berries like that the colors of the berries are going to overpower the greens. Some people like more greens and less fruit, and others like more fruit with a few greens. Either way it is good for you. A lot of people say that after a while of eating green smoothies that they start adding more and more greens. I usually do about 40% fruit and 60% greens myself. I love adding nuts and flax seed to it to balance out the nutrients. One of my favorites is brazil nuts for some reason, but today I used macs and it is awesome!
