What do you all use for your veggi wash?

I used to use lemon juice but its expensive.:(

Right now I fill my sink and drop in a bar of soap (REAL SOAP THAT I MAKE MY SELF not store bought soap).;)

but it takes long time for the water to cloud.

So I am looking for something a little faster easy and cheap!:D

HEHE got caried away with the emoticons! :p

I just started using this and love it ...I don't really use it my organic produce, I just rinse that... but I mainly use it for any conventionally-grown produce I buy:

A little goes a long way. But you can also use your homemade soap and add a few drops of GSE (grapefruit seed extract - the above product contains: Lime extracts, grapefruit seed and pulp extracts, surfactants from coconut and/or corn, cold pressed orange oil and filtered water. If you make your own soap, you could probably make this! :D

one of my friends mother ( who has a knack with foods) told her she could use vinegar as a veggie wash. i know she used white vinegar, but i bet you could sub ACV. Possibly fill a spray bottle with 50/50 AVC & water and spritz on your veggies? if needed, they sell veggie washing brushes to scrub dirt off also.

I just rinse everything in plain water.
