I want to make this but was wondering, were the sundried tomatoes the store bought variety (with oil), or the "plain" dehydrated (without oil) variety? Just curious, for most recipes, does it matter???
I never use oil packed. I get my sundried tomatoes from www.rawfromthefarm.com and soak them for a few hours before use. I also use the soak water in the recipe if it calls for added water.

The oiled ones work fine. They're already soaked!;)
