I know they say SOME caffeine is ok while pregnant, but im alway cautious. Does anyone know how much is in say..raw cocao powder and how much is safe? I tend to use a lot of it in shakes and i would hate to eliminate it all together, it seems a staple for me!

If you drink caffeine, drink from areopress maker from amazon. It is low acid. Caffeine in small amounts may be okay. Best to listen within.
If you take cacao, it is best to have alittle or get the powder one which is less acidity.
Enjoy!

hmmm...I've tried the raw cacao, extensively, and felt it was more like a drug than a food. It's true that it has very little caffeine (it does have some, naturally, not man-added), but it also has other stimulating things in it like theobromine. You might want to test it in small amounts without any other foods to see how your body feels with it.
