Detox symptoms?

Hi all,

I am on a fast and thought I had a cold, when I realized that I may actually be experiencing the detoxification process.

I have been struck with terrible headaches, stuffy head, lots of mucous (sorry if that's too graphic) and sneezing like crazy. This is the first time that I've had these symptoms, thought that I may have caught a cold, but someone mentioned that I may in fact be "cleaning house."

Please, share your thoughts.

You've been raw how long? And you've eaten SAD/CRAP foods how long? I'm thinking detox if raw is less then the SAD/CRAP time frame. Drink some green smoothies (daily) and wait it out. So worth it! You body is getting rid of gunk! Rest. Listen to your body. But continue to feed it well.

I broke out all around my mouth!
(I haven't had a pimple in years!) It's like fever blister pussy yuck!
I applied an $$$ cream from the pharmacy and it appears to be clearing up, but my God, has the last 36 hours sucked:rolleyes:

Hang in there... no green smoothies, yet!

This, too, shall pass...

@ Vegan: I was almost completely raw, before slipping back into oblivion. That's what prompted me to fast.

@ Andy...are you fasting too? If so, I'm glad I'm not alone :)

@ Kate: I think I'm over the worst part. I'm feeling a surge of energy and feeling "normal" again. It's amazing what the body can produce after years of eating poorly :eek:
