My thighs use to be nice and firm but since going raw they seem to be melting away:)
Now i'm waiting for the same for my stomach:) My body is slowly changing and it's odd looking at myself in the mirror, i don't recognize myself sometimes.
I can't believe how my body is changing.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I'm working toward 100% raw but my dh and i are around 80% now and with this experience i'm looking forward to greater results as we go alone.

Pockets of fat is good if it was ALL fat previously. That means there isn't as much as before. I understand what you mean I think :) Good for you!

I guess i could have put my comments in a easier to understand way but what i am meaning to say is that where there was once firm thighs now that firmness of the skin on my thighs seems to be loosening up.
I know it was fat because most women have a lot of stored fat in their thighs i have been told for lean times, i had big thighs since being a teenager and a firm behind and that area is melting away also.
Thanks again Dream for putting into words i couldn't say, you're a doll:D

Try dry skin brushing. It will break that up and it's sooooo good for lymphatic system! Use a natural (plant) bristle brush, brush lightly and toward the heart. Those particular areas you can brush in a circular motion, but end with upward strokes toward the heart. Skin brushing does amazing things to your skin, especially when raw...

That's no fun and I guess it has to be one of things we call tradeoffs in efforts to attain and maintain a healthy body(a temporary inconveinence as the body transitions).... I know just what you mean; my arms had always been naturally firm, not big but firm no matter what size I was and with all the weight loss, they now need work...

I agree with Vegan with doing the dry skin brushing...so good for the lymphatic system. Also, strength training is important - whether it with weights, doing lunges, .... just make it a constant..... With the way my weight has come off in these last 10+ months of embracing raw, I'm glad that I started out so strong with the strength training....

I feel like the incredible shinking woman:D in a good way.
I feel off of a stool a couple of months ago on my shoulder and bruised it quite badly so i had to cut down on exercise that involved my upper arm.
I do lite exercise now but i am getting some in.
I fell so hard that i know if i had not been raw i would have broken my shoulder because i landed hard on it.

Glad to hear that you didn't hurt anything.... I still can't start the push mower... got to get these muscles back:D ... everyone thinks I'm anorexic-NOT... I guess people got so used to me being fat for so long that to see me this way is such a contrast.. I think my family forgot that I actually used to be this size and smaller once up a time

I noticed while sitting on the toilet today that my inner thys near my knees have thinned out drastically leaving the top of my thys still flabby and fat lol. It looks funny lol.. scary actually.. I dont like the way it looks but I do know its working! :)

I'm grateful that my bones are strong:D
Green smoothies really helped.
I look at my thighs and they do look funny, melting away for ever, never to come back again:)
I look at the before and after pictures and they give me hope for the new me that i'm slowly becoming.

ohh okay, thanks for explaining! I feel slow hahaha. Anyway, that's amazing! I hope my thighs start to get smaller!!! How long did it take you to notice a difference after going raw? I've been raw 6 days and havent even lost a pound or notice a difference physically in my body - I need to add some green smoothies I think!

This is my 5th attempt at going raw and i'm around 80% now, i've been going at this for about 5 months and just within the last month i've noticed a change in the firmness of my thighs.
My face has gotten slimmer too.
I looked at your pictures, you are beautiful, what a noticeable change:)
Now i'm working on my stomach and waistline, i can hardly wait to see the changes there:D

What helped me when I was going through that stage was weight training or weight bearing exercises. I figured I was losing fat and muscle and my bum was becoming uncomfortably soft when it was once firm. I work my large muscle groups (abs, thighs, gluts) several times a week and they are very firm now.

both green (unless you are needing something different)

blend,blend,blend & crunch,crunch, crunch

Add straw & enjoy!!

After being 100% raw, my body has taken on a new shape. My arms especially have been more toned. I haven't lost any poundage on the scale, but it seems that my body is shaping itself!
