I used this for my "rawmboli" recipe - but had leftovers ... made a delicious wrap for breakfast (tee hee!) - filled this with sunflower seed roasted red pepper hummus (one of my staples). It was to live for!
1 C ground golden flax seeds
2 C raw wheat germ
1/4 C water (I used water that sundried tomatoes were soaking in)
6 soaked sundried tomatoes
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 white onion, minced
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 plum tomato
1 tbsp. nutritional yeast (obviously optional)
1 chopped red pepper
1/4 tsp. Braggs
Dehydrate until it stays together as a wrap - but is still soft and yummy. So firm but soft.

Oh sure! It's my take off another popular hummus recipe... and I eat it several times a week.
Red Pepper Hummus:
In FP, blend:
2 medium zucchini (peeled)
1/4 cup olive oil
4-8 garlic cloves
Juice of one lemon
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
3/4 cup tahini
cayenne to taste
1 t paprika
1 - 1.5 t ground cumin
sea salt to taste - start with 1 T, maybe? I tend to play with this.
1 red bell pepper (to get it softer, I have marinated this in just a little EVOO for a bit while I mix the rest of the ingredients)
This thickens up in the fridge - but no need to wait! =)
Enjoy.

Absolutely! Elizabeth - just FYI, there are many of us that just don't like the taste of raw chick peas, though you can make hummus with them, of course. Hence, the alternative.
ENJOY! =)
