My mom and I are were talking today and she decided to give the raw food lifestyle a try!! I'm so excited but I really want to make her stick with it and eventually decide to stay raw. I need some advice/tips to keep my mom motivated. We live in a small area in Arizona and don't have much access to anything besides fruits, veggies, nut, seeds. Even nuts and seeds we have to travel two and half hours to get. She really wants to lose the last 10 stubborn pounds, she's lost 19 pounds so far on a Weight Watchers Diet. She is a diet coke addict and she loves her Weight Watchers icecreams. I really want her to commit to this and stay committed and find out that being raw is the best thing for you. I just need to persuade her first, but at least she's willing to give it a try! I know its going to be hard for her at first to give up meat and dairy and all the detox she will experience so I'm wondering if she should go 75% first and have like a vegan cooked meal at night and then she can work her way up to 100%. What do you guys think?
