As I turned to (Sad) food for all different reasons, it robbed me of so many things and the temporary comfort or escape food provided left me feeling more depressed, unhappy, unhealthy, etc.

Morn, I just read this that you wrote on your site - that was such a lightbulb moment for me!! Food is GOOD, it's yummy, but it robs me of so many more things than just "Weight" really. Thankyou so much - that really inspired me and I'm going to remember it when I'm tempted to eat cooked food. :D

I haven`t posted on this website for such a long time, because I failed at eating raw...it was really hard for me to stay on the track as much as I wanted and needed...but you are so inspiring and what you acomplished makes me want to try again...My CSA distribution of veggies just started this week and will last until last week of November so its perfect timing!

Sherah Taylor - thank you for bringing back my words to me. I am glad to have notated my journey because I never want to return to being in bondage to food again. I don't want to forget how miserable, unhappy, unalive, and unhealthy I felt. These are the things (memories) that keep you on that straight and narrow path when we want to do otherwise.

Good for you for coming back. Don't look at it like its a failure. This is a journey and sometimes it just takes time to change behavior. Remember we are creatures of habit and have been eating certain foods all of our lives. It is not an easy task to walk away from whats comfortable and familiar and to learn a new way. THe good news is that you are back and wanting something better for yourself that doesn't sound like someone who has been defeated. So don't sweat it. Just dust yourself off and keep on trying. And remember even when you feel like you haven't gotten it all right, stay here connected. This website has been like a lifeline to me. I have needed it to learn, grow, and stay connected with like minded people. Also I use it for accountability purposes to help me reach my goals. So keep your head up high and lets reach our goals together!:)

Thanks CarolG & Magglepie! :D I am much happier now with my life and I will keep pressing toward the goal! It feels good to fit in my 12 year old daughters clothes. She doesn't like it though!
