I have been using a food dryer to cook sprouted grain bread and veggie patties, noticed both have tasted too sour, now think the temp may be to blame as it is over 120 degrees f. Doesn't have a temp control but I think I may put clothespins between the plastic trays to let some air in or leave the oven door partly open when using that. Would that work? I would appreciate your comments thank you in advance. :)

IMO it would be the opposite... not hot enough, doesn't dry fast enough. "OVEN" door? What type of "food dryer" are you using?

120 is killing your food. You would be better off not using any dehydrator than using one at that temp. If mine gets to 110 (even for a second) I panic.
I find that most things that I make using sprouted grains taste sour where as making with sprouted seeds tastes fine.

Hi I use a cheap plastic food dryer or the oven on warm, will try to open the oven door or change the dryer so that it is vented more (with clothes pins.)

The oven on warm is not a dehydrator.. There's no fan. As far as the cheap plastic dryer, have no idea about that. Is there a fan? Temp. guage? I stand by what I said... Not high enough. Wet and warm creates mold, mildew, bacteria. High and dry does not. If you use an overn, you're baking your food.
Suggestions: go to yard sales, swap meets, throw-away papers, craigslist, ebay until you find a good affordable dehydrator.
