I eat when I'm hungry :)

And I try to eat what I want, with some planning involved. I try to get more greens in.

Yea, me too.... Alissa says in her book that the goal is to eat when you're hungry and don't eat if you're not.. Sounds like great advise to me!

i start my day off with a quart of carrot beet cucumber celery and green of my choice drink. about 2 or 3 hours later i eat some sort of fruit concoction.
lunchtime is usuall a salad. if i have the time and the ingredients i make a killer dressing consisting of, but not limited to:

tbsp hempseed
tbsp wheat germ
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
olive oil
ap cid vinegar
pinch of flaxseed
10-15 fresh basil leaves from my plant
salt
pepper
cayenne
sometimes a teaspoon of spirulina powder
somtimes lemon juice
a couple cloves of garlic
1/4 chopped onion
honey
bee pollen

i mash that up real good and then add my greens, usually consisting of some type of homegrown sprout, and spinach, adult if my organic place has it

this will tide me til dinner as fats stay in my belly for at least 4 hours

dinner i eat light, most of the time fruit.

but, who knows. just the other day i just lived off a gigantic watermelon

i have realized as long as i keep a relative balance and dont just eat one thing, such as fruit, for a really long time, i can eat whatever i want whenever i want

i have noticed that the veggy juice in the morn gives me great bowel movements, while if i skip that i am prone to having it much later in the day.
i also do not have bm's if i eat on top of other meals. that is eating again when i am not actually hungry. this usually happens when i am trying to fill a "quota"

go with the flow of ur body man. you cant go wrong there (as long as its not flowing you to your nearest mcdonalds)

Early morning I have a cup of Yerba mate tea with agave (yes, caffeine and not raw, I know, but I just don't care cuz I love it)

Then, I generally have a green juice in the am around 9:00ish with kale/chard/collards/whatever greens available, apple, lemon, ginger, beet, celery, cukes (Life Force Powerade recipe by Natalia Rose)

Around 11ish I have a green smoothie with 2-3 fruits, spinach, parsely, green powder and sometimes hemp protein

Around 1 I have fruit, around 2:30ish I have a cup of tea

Around 4 I have a snack of nut milk smoothie, buckwheaties, flax cracker with vegs, cherry tomatoes, carrots and dip or whatever is available

I eat dinner around 7ish which is usually a salad or nori rolls or raw tacos or some other raw concoction.

There is variability there, but in general that is usually how it plays out!!!!!!!

I have fruit or green smoothie/drink for breakfast. I snack on flax crackers, nuts, or fruit for lunch or through lunch. And a raw meal for dinner, my favorite being, Nori Rolls and Miso Soup. Yum!!!

I always eat fruit in the morning followed by a huge salad for lunch and in the evening I may snack on a smoothie, fruit or another salad. I'm not fond of preparing elaborate meals.

I graze all-day so I dont have set meals unless I'm out of town or eating out.

Morning
Green smoothie (I take it to work in a jar and drink it throughout the morning)

Mid morning
Fruit

Lunch
Salad or fruit

Mid afternoon
Fruit

Evening
coconut

Fruit smoothie

Every day is a little different. It depends on my schedule and activity level too. The more I workout, the more I eat and drink. I also eat nuts and prepare something different (dessert, dehydrated food) about once or twice a week - but I do it more for my SO but still enjoy it myself.

I'm trying to get in tune with my body and get out of the "you have to have x meals at x:xx times." It's extremely difficult to feel your hunger and stop when full if you havn't done it in years. Sheesh!

2 meals per day last one at midday...

When I first started raw I ate whenever I felt like it......usually fruit....but I am seeking to find out how my body will react on 2 meals per day......that is how it was when I was cooked.......I am on day 21 of this "experiment"....100% raw, so far so good. I still get cravings at night when I used to be eating something, but I just pray and drink water and it seems to take care of things.......We'll see how it goes..

Peace.

I just eat when I am hungry. It is different everyday!

Me too!

Usually though breakfast is a quart of green smoothie and I may not drink it until late morning with just water in the earlier part of the day.

Lunch is some sort of salad. The rest of the day is grazing and getting away from large dinner meals (and trying not to snack all evening long!) so I am not so full and uncomfortable at bedtime.

Grazing works best for me!

I am learning...and trying to keep a variety of foods in my house. This way, whatever looks good...is what I eat. Sometimes I get a craving for something "filling" like a pate, or heavier nut based meal....other times, it's just juice, a smoothie, or salad....
Keep a variety, and go with what looks good. Try to eat when you are hungry...but not STARVING...this is when I cave and eat something bad. Listen to YOUR body. Good luck.
