LMAO at Jinjee's comment "These contractions are enormous orgasms" lol!!! If only that were true lol
Well, I agree with Jinjee! There is no reason for unmanaged, unassisted raw birth to involve any pain. I've given birth three times without any pain. Best experiences of my life!
Orgasms involve contractions, too.:)

My hypnobirthing moms have orgasmic births frequently. Seems like instead of getting into war stories about how painful it is...once one hears that her pal has had one, she decides she "can" too. Pretty soon the whole group decides their births are gonna be natural, easy, healthy, and "alive with sensation." Then they get determined to outdo each other with pleasurable births instead of war stories! If you relax into it there is no pain, just pressure, surges, and sometimes..... :p Yay for that!
We like to think of birth as the completion of a joyful 9-month sexual event.
One doc in NY state has seen his C-section rate go down to less than 2% using this relaxed approach to birth. Anyone can do it...especially with an uber-healthy raw pregnancy!

Her blog said they may film the birth for her dvd; would anyone be interested in her birthing dvd? I sure am!
