My girlfriend is going to convert to raw foodism and she was asking me questions about rice and different types of flour.
My question is, if you soak rice then put it in a dehydrator to warm it up, is it consitered raw?
Also, if you take organic unbleached flour and make a cracker type mix then put it in the dehydrator to harden is this raw?
Sorry if these questions have been asked before, I've searched the forums and googled it but maybe I'm not phrasing it correctly.
Thanks!

Anyone? I don't think that would be raw, but I don't exactly see why not.

I think flour is heated and processed.
Rice will never get soft no matter how long you soak it; it needs heat, so No they would not be raw.

To the best of my knowledge.

You can soak wild rice and sprout it and have it in with salads. In fact, Alissa has a recipe in her book.
The already made flours? They are processed. BUT you can take pulp from say almond mylk, dehydrate that, then grind into a flour (using a coffee grinder).

You cannot digest raw grains. As far as I know.
Maybe I'm wrong?

Correct, but they can be sprouted, then dehydrated, then ground into flour. Or sprouted and juice as in wheatgrass or sprouted and eaten.
