What a present to yourself. Did you get the DVD too? You should ask for that as a gift for something. So worth it to see Alissa in action and answer questions. Like being at one of her classes!

Cool!! You are going to freak out on the testimonials. I hope you got the DVD as well. It helps (at least me) to see how the food is prepared and to see some of the gadgets being used.

I just recieved my book also! I made the spinich dip, twice! I have to wait until my nut/date order comes in to make some more stuff! I am going to make the carrot cake for my sister. I was telling her about raw foods. She is a nurse and seems to be interested. I wish I would have asked for the cd also :mad: I am thinking about opening a health food store so people can get raw food items and information because there is no place around here to buy raw stuff even common stuff is hard to find.

I looooved my book too :D !! I started reading it the first day it came. I seriously don't think I could have done the 30 day challenge without it! the DVD.... now THAT RAWKS! my dh is not a reader - but he saw part of the DVD and decided to go RAW too! (short lived - I think he did 100% for a day or maybe two?? ;) but he's still about 90% raw and very supportive - so that's cool!) :D The BEST thing for me about Alissas DVD - watching the foods being prepared. It helped me to understand how to do it myself. Enjoy the book !! You'll LOVE it too!
