I had a craving for Stromboli - so I made Rawmboli! Yummers - even the SAD guy I call my husband agreed it was tasty.

Looks interesting. Makes me feel like going down to the kitchen to whip up something creative... maybe a festive fruit salad for this hot memorial day.

It IS filling. Oy. LOL

Actually, no shrooms.

The crust was made with:
Crust:
3 C raw bulgur wheat - but you can substitute that with 3 c ground golden flax
1/4 C water (I used water that sundried tomatoes were soaking in)
6 soaked sundried tomatoes
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 white onion, minced
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 plum tomato
1 tbsp. nutritional yeast (obviously optional)
1 chopped red pepper
1/4 tsp. Braggs

The filling is a layer of Alissa's mozzarella, a layer of "rawsage" - I modified a pecan sausage recipe slightly - so, so good, and then a layer of eggplant bacon. Wrapped it all up and served with a side of marinara for dipping - yum.

(ps - if you're not a purist ... my husband isn't at all ... filling apparently tasted great in a sprouted wheat wrap)
