wow i cant believe all the recipes here.. i am very new to raw and thought i was destined to a life of carrots! which is not bad but i love variety, and my husband would never go for that for his own food. so this is great to see that i can do raw and fix things that taste great also.

Cool! Congratulations! welcome:) Of all the Raw books I've flipped through, I really really love Alissa's book and all of her easy, glorious recipes. Welcome to Raw living- it's such a blessing!

That's too funny! I felt the same way, thinking, ugh, carrots and celery, oh boy, what fun. But I tell you what. There is nothing that I haven't had. Cheezecake, brownies, ice cream, nut mylks, pizza, calzones, soups, crackers, bagels, pretty much you name it and it's been made. My Mom is amazed. However, if you want it to taste JUST like SAD/CRAP foods, it probably won't. Somethings are pretty dern close. But again, once your taste buds do not crave the junk you've been eating, you will love these flavors and tastes. I have really tasted foods for the first time in my life. My sense of smell has become intense too. You will have fun with this.
Oh, and check this out for a visual:

A lot of things taste BETTER than their SAD counterparts, too ;-)
