Okay what is this...

I have noticed when I eat certain prepared foods, The first bite tastes soo good. The next bite of the same food good. But after the 3rd bite of the same piece of food the tastes seem to have this lil sting. Not literally, but like the spices, flavors seem to be soo overwhelming that they start to have a stinging type bite to it. Never on the first few bites. Yesterday I had breadsticks from Go raw, Great the first bite, and the few that followed, but then... YUCk. Does this happen to anyone else? It has happened for me with all different types of raw prepared foods?

Wow, that's a bummer. Are these just the pre-packaged (prepared) foods you've bought somewhere? The joy in creating your own is that YOU get to season it how you like it, milder or spicier.
Maybe you need to not eat those types of foods and stick more with fruits and veggies, blander foods until your body adjusts more. Green smoothies too to fill you up. Dunno...?

Howdy...

I dunno what it is. But I ate bland foods for the first year of raw. So Im a lil bored with salad and green smoothie everyday. But it doesnt happen all the time, just sometimes... It's weird.

I have the same problem. I can eat lots of spice with avo or nuts but not with the less fat foods. The spices just slap me in the face. pretty much why I eat so simple.

I've only noticed this with Braggs Aminos. I've used it on an off for over a decade, but when I am consistently RAW I find that the Braggs burns my tongue and is way to salty tasting.

isnt that your body signaling "OKAY! dont need anymore of whatever nutrition is in that (or maybe 'there isnt enough nutrition in that'). move on."?

sort of like how sometimes you sit down to a bowl of strawberries, and by the 7th or 8th strawberry they no longer taste good anymore?

something like that?

Yeah, I'm only high Raw right now but when I was eating 100% Raw, I noticed I was much more sensitive to seasonings. And I thought it was cool to see my body responding of it's own accord.

I get bored with some of the seasonings. There is a lot of repetition in the raw recipes. I find a lot of the time that everything starts tasting the same 'cause the ingredients are the same, just variations in the ratio of ingredients. I eat raw because it makes me feel good, and my body loves it! But I do have an issue with boredom, and I'm not a very good cook.
