Wow, that is soooo fantastic! Good luck to both of you!
I think a lot of people here experienced better vision after raw. I haven't yet.

Mine vision has improved! The optimoligist (sp?) said it was the first time she's ever seen that happen!

Wow, that's great! My husband is normally so supportive, which makes dieting SO much easier. This time he hasn't mentioned anything about the diet, and I'm sure it's because he's worried I'm going to pressure him to join in. He's big on meat, and not a big veggie fan, certainly not uncooked veggies. Maybe he'll show some interest when he sees how well I do. It's just as well that I do it alone now...I don't think I could afford to buy organic produce for him too! Though someday I want the whole family to go at least 50% raw, if nothing else.
That will be so much easier for you if he joins you. How exciting!
As for the eyes, I know I read a success story online about someone whose vision improved greatly...maybe even a couple of stories. Wish I could remember where I saw them, but I don't.

Wonderful!!
My husband ended up no longer needing his reading glasses...I haven't heard too many stories about near-sighted people getting rid of their specks - I am near-sighted and wear glasses to see far distances but I have noticed that since going raw my glasses are starting to "bother" me and I wonder if I need a weaker prescription...which would indicate some improvement!
I will be going to the eye doctor soon to find out!

I'm pretty sure Alissa said in her dvd that she didn't need glasses anymore a while after being raw. I'd have to go back and double check, but I'm pretty sure she said it.

I'm near-sighted :) The ONLY issue I have still is at night, but I don't need my glasses. Just lights get a littly blury far distances.

I have astigmatism and my glasses don't seem right anymore. I'm fortunate that I have always been able to see OK without them despite the rather severe astigmatism (not sure how that works exaclty but it has always been that way). I'm going to wait a while before getting new prescriptions and see what happens.
