I don't miss cooked sweets at all -- fruit is so quick and sweet there's no need for anything else. But I'm constantly searching for new, easy savory dishes. So far I've made raw pizzas with portabellas; carrot and squash noodles with various sauces; a million salads; tomato based warmish soups; warmish corn on the cob; guacamole with raw veggie chips. When my dehydrator gets here I'll be able to add other things, but I'm hoping also to build my arsenal of savory, raw "fast foods." Any ideas?

Although pesto stuffed mushrooms are usually dehydrated, we like them without drying them also, and they always satisfy my savory food wants.

Nut pates usually are not dehdyrated. However, once you get your dehdrator, Juliano has a great "meatloaf" recipe. I have made it several times, only the first time following it exactly. Since then, I follow it loosely (making some substitutions, not measuring, etc..) and it has turned out great each time. Lately, I have also been making some cookies. They are pretty easy to throw together in a food processor and then dehydrate.

Hi, I just got my dehydrater & before I got it, I was on the "Prowl" for some Crunchy-munchies !!! I ordered from Glaser Organic Farms.

I love the Chickpea carrot croquettes...Flax crackers...Nori Crackers...
I found the Essene bread just a little bland for me, but I really like spicy. Maybe it was too hard/thick, not crunchy enough.
Also, the olives are great.
I hope this helps.'
