Please help ASAP. I would greatly appreciate it. I am going to an all day concert today. I am not allowed to leave and come back. I am allowed 1 bottle of water less than 20oz. and a one gal ziploc back of food. What would be best to bring to last me 12 hours. This is only my 5th raw day so I am not that knowledgeable yet.
Thank you so much:eek:

Being your 5th day you'll want something filling, right? If you can eat nuts, or seeds I would bring those to help you keep full. Dried fruit/trail mix, something like that. I would say bananas, bcause they're filling, but they'll take up a lot of room in your bag. Apples are good for keeping you hydrated.

Thanks so much for such a quick response. I had a feeling that I would get a quick one. Such helpful people here. :)

Do they not sell food?
If they do and you are going with a non-raw friend, I would suggest you "borrowing" some baggies.
I'd be filling mine with bananas and larabars. For some reason--nuts just don't cut it for me.
I"d also eat a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE salad prior to going to stuff the tummy.
(of course this may be too late for your needs)

Hey, let us know how it went. What kind of concert was this?

I would just bring the water & consider an awesome day to fast. I dont think 12 hours would hurt & I would have too much fun to worry about the food anyways LOL!!

I had a great time at the concert. Thanks for all the advice. I was allowed a 20oz water and the gallon bag. I brought peppers and celery. nuts, raisins and dried cranberries, and I found some flax snacks that are raw and organic at Mother's market. They were wonderful and very filling. They did sell food there but it was all like fast food and no salads or raw stuff. I was fine with my baggie and my husband even joined me...maybe there is hope for him yet!
The concert was a festival style. Linkin Park, Korn, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Interpol, Queens of the Stonage, Incubus, Killers (Didnt play cause lead singer lost his voice) Tiger Army, 30 seconds to Mars, Plain white T's, Peter, Bjorn, and John, Silversun Pickups, (I think there were a couple more)
I did have some beer though. I couldnt resist. I am back on track today though.

I understand completely---
I am not 100% yet....so some bad beer (Mich Light Ultra)....and yesterday some organic white wine (actually pretty good!) sneak in occasionally.....
I justify it--that I don't drink alchohol for nutrition anyway....just sometimes like the taste.
I guess I can have some raw wine---once I get a juicer...and like to have it alcohol free.:p
