I found a vegetarian spring roll/with sauce at one of our health food stores that I love but it's not 100% raw. I am totally in love with it though - so I thought I could bring the ingrediants to you guys and have you give me ideas on how to make this raw!
It is in a little cup, looks almost like clear jelly with red chili floating in it -
water, red chili, sugar, salt and vinegar.

Another question since I am at it...
Is there a raw version of that sticky rice paper (made with rice flour, salt, water) that spring rolls are wrapped in?

Thanks everyone!

This is what you do for the spring roll wrapper, check :

Under Vanessa's recipes you will see the recipe for the wrapper under Vietnamese rice paper rolls.

The sauce you are talking about is commonly called sweet chilli sauce or nuoc cham, here's the recipe:

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (you can dry your own thai red chillies)
3 tablespoons agave
2 tablespoons lime juice
4 tablespoons fish sauce *
1 cup water

* As a substitute for fish sauce use dulse flakes.

Also as a tip when you whip oil and agave together it forms a gel like consistency. So I would whip those together first in your blender, then add the other ingredients except for water, then thin it with water until you get the taste and consistency that you like.
