 okay...so I've been craving chocolate all day long...and while making some date truffles, I had some left over tahini/raw honey mixture (about a tablespoon) so I put in a little vanilla extract, and some cacao powder...and BAM! its the consistency and taste (imo at least! :-P) of brownie batter. It was sooo good. Definitely knocked the chocolate demon in my head out cold! ;)

AWESOME.
At Creative Health Insittute, some of us would actually take tahini, shredded coconut and honey and blend it into a paste/dip/spread/frosting and just eat it with a spoon. Mmmm!

Oooh Yaaaa,
Storm from The Garden Diet has a chocolate milk that is tahini based and is out of this world! I mean you would never think "tahini & chocolate"!
I'll have to try that brownie batter. . . .
Cheers,
Eppp

RowanC - I did a search for the said recipe and it appears all the posts containing it have been deleted. Was I looking in the wrong places? If it's not too much trouble, would you kindly post the recipe? Thanks!!

I don't pulse the brownie mixture too much. I like it chunky.
Also, I add a teaspoon or so of coconut oil.
The other thing you can do is mix a spoon of coconut oil, some honey, and some raw coco powder to make an icing.. but I found I just like it all mushed together.
Also, I roll these in balls. I find they hold together better.
Then I keep them in the fridge.
YUMMERS!
They sure fix a chocolate craving!:D
