First of all, don't ever think Raw Food as a diet, just think it as a lifestyle instead. Diet should be a four letter word and it is a four letter word.

Secondly, you ought to be able to find a local Raw Food group or potluck in your area.

Thirdly, you really need to dig inside yourself to found out why did you fall off the bandwagon in the first place.

Fourthy, don't push yourself back into the Raw, just do it because you loved being the raw.

Good luck!

The pull to SAD food is very strong and once you go back it is difficult to transition back to eating all raw food. I suggest you fast for a few days and then going back to raw will be easier. Maybe you could even do the master cleanse to detox.

My two cents: green smoothies nurture me back onto the Raw path. Glad you're hanging in there:)

the desire to return to raw and LIFE is a good way to start! Morn is right - maybe a MC will help you to detox a bit and make transitioning back to Raw a little easier. good luck!

Right. Do it because you WANT to be raw more than you WANT (what you think are) poor food choices. Until that point - you're just depriving yourself. Set VERY small goals and keep them - and don't bemoan (too much! LOL) the big stuff you couldn't get to! ;)

I'd eat healthier for a week before starting the MC. Fruits and veggies for breakfast and lunch with whatever dinners you're used to. Then do a MC, else it might be a little extreme for your body to handle fresh from smoking and eating poorly.

Then, after the cleanse, you should be good to go for returning to raw :)

All the suggestion are great. I have been where you are numerous times. Been raw 100% 6 month plus, had my SAD, and then what? Learn from each experience, dust yourself off and set a game plan that works for you. Right now I am not 100% and for now that is working for me. My goal is to get there again and I will in my own time. Some days are 100% and some days aren't. If you can go 100% again and fly with it awesome, only you know, work out a balance that works for you. If you need anything let me know, ok?

I think SAD and Nicotine are both addictive.

When I do one, I generally do the other.

It's difficult to get back on the wagon... but honestly, each time I stay up a little longer.

Just hang in there, keep coming back, and don't give up.
Some us (like me) take longer to learn than others.

We're all supporting each other.. aren't we a pretty quilt?

I think COOKED food is additive. It doesn’t have to be SAD - at least for me. The pull can be very strong at times.
