Greeting everyone! I have purchased Alissa's book and my hubby and I are going for the 30 day challenge starting Monday! Been reading and preparing etc. I am new here and will put in my profile soon...question though.....

I have a grain mill attachment for my Champion Juicer...can I make my own Raw Oats by putting organic oat groats thru it????? Thanks ahead for any info. Deb

Hey congratulations and welcome to the Raw path. The general consensus on oat groats is that they are steamed to avoid rancidity but Alissa's store sells truly raw groats.
I just love my Champion juicer and I'm curious what the grinder attachment is like. Can you describe it?

Thanks for the support and warm welcome!!! I won my juicer on EBAY {yay!} and the grinder attachment is a metal thing that attaches where the juicing blade thing would.....attaches to the machine....you can grind all sorts of grains in it....I ground wheat for bread....the flavor and freshness is outstanding...guess I'll just be making it for my kids!!! I buy Alissa's raw oats and they are wonderful. I soak them in almond mylk and add some agave, cinnamon, raisins, and other fresh fruit or berries. Yum!
