Well, I've had something really strange happen. My ears blocked up this week (I could at least still hear out of one, but the other was really blocked). I'd tried homeopathic drops to dissolve the wax, but not a lot of luck. I was going to go in for ear candelling at a health center I go to, but I didn't think they could get me in today. So I went to my doctor's office. Big mistake.

After two hours of being completely drowned, with no improvement to the messed up ear, and the good ear then being unable to hear as well, I was told that they were very impacted, and I'd need to see an Ear-Nose-Throat doc. (Which of course would be sometime next week.) I don't think so, I can't hear now. (My doc wasn't in today; this was from another doc at the place, and I've never been too impressed with him.)

Needless to say, I called the health center about the ear candelling and begged for an appointment today. (Not one of my finest moments ... lol ...) Luckily, they said yes!

Well, it was another two hours there, three candles per ear, and I now have somewhat sore ears after eveything they'd been through today! (One is still a bit blocked as some oil was put in after, and it just hasn't popped back to normal.)

The thing that completely shocked me, tho', was that it wasn't just wax blocking my ears ... it was yeast! There was a LOT! She and I both agreed that in all my detoxing (in between having colonics done and switching to raw food), it's killing the yeast. I didn't even know I had a yeast problem!!!

What I honestly don't understand, tho', is why didn't the doctor's office see this??? She showed me all the yeast that came out with each candle (and she said quite a few "wow's" and "Oh my God"'s). So why didn't the doctor's office see this??? They should have been able to, I'd think! I just really don't understand this at all.

Anyone else have this happen with detoxing? I was really shocked by this ... I thought for sure it was just a really good wax build-up from detoxing. But yeast??

Sure that's possible. It just depends upon how comfortable an environment for yeast growth any given portion of your body offers.

You probably have systemic candidiasis. It wouldn't be a bad idea at all to get Crook's Yeast Connection Handbook and follow his dietary recommendations, adapting them to a raw diet. Or, I just got the book, Juicing For Life, which has a suggested diet for getting rid of yeast. I'm doing a liver cleanse first myself and then planning on modifying my raw diet to conform to the candida diet in JFL as I've had major yeast problems. Might be something to look into for yourself.

Thanks, Dot! I'll check into those two books! Actually, I may have "Juicing for Life". (It sounds very familiar, and I've recently purchased quite a few books on raw and juicing.) I'll have to check at home when I go tomorrow. (I'm temporarily living at my parents now.)

I just still don't understand how the doc's office couldn't see it. It's not like the candles went in any further than anything they were doing.

Or is this just an April Fool's joke on me?
